83mm M Motor

Well, the 83mm K motor got an upgrade and now is a 83mm mid M class motor. It was flown for the first time at Northern Colorado Rocketry's Mile High Mayhem Memorial Day weekend. It teleported a 5.5", 70" rocket to 9170' at the speed of sound.

Flight of the Aerospike!

The aerospike flew and landed successfully this weekend a Northern Colorado Rocketry's Sunday research launch. Thanks a ton to Art Hoag who offered his rocket 'Slipstream' to fly the aerospike in. It was a great flight and we should have pictures later this week. The rocket even landed without any damage to the spike. Pictured here is a 12 pound rocket that flew to 1300' on the I250 motor. It was a nice low and slow flight to demonstrate the motor!
