Flight of the Aerospike!

The aerospike flew and landed successfully this weekend a Northern Colorado Rocketry's Sunday research launch. Thanks a ton to Art Hoag who offered his rocket 'Slipstream' to fly the aerospike in. It was a great flight and we should have pictures later this week. The rocket even landed without any damage to the spike. Pictured here is a 12 pound rocket that flew to 1300' on the I250 motor. It was a nice low and slow flight to demonstrate the motor!

Here are the latest videos from the static test department of candidates for certification. The last one is a maybe - the R&D department needs to do more testing on it. We are still working our way to certification of these motors. It is a process that takes more time than one thinks, especially to produce a product that is reliable and consistent for our consumers.
